I figure my current regimen costs about $200,000/year Canadian, or slightly less in USD. My costs are covered by Medicare (Herceptin and Vinorelbine) and by my private drug plan (Neupogen). I am very, very lucky.
It all makes me so furious.
Drug companies are evil.

I have metastatic breast cancer, and it costs more than $300,000 a year to keep me alive. And that's not including therapy (another $35,000/year) and massage therapy (insurance pays for 12 visits, I pay the rest).
